I've been thinking, which is dangerous. I love the bridge(s) in the battle, the buildings, and the bravery of the soldiers, but that bridge is so iconic that I feel once it goes on the table, we're stuck replaying the battle again. I use generic Normandy buildings to create anything D-Day beyond the beaches. But Pegasus is always Pegasus in my mind. Is it a waste of time to invest all the time and money in 15mm and larger on that battle?

I think if you play it just as it occurred it could be a challenge to remain interesting. Instead, I suggest randomizing the arrival and landing results for the gliders – some go missing some crash, some land far short, some are perfect., etc. Add to that the possibility that suprise was lost and include the opportunity for better organized Axis response. Randomize the arrival of the Paras and Commandos. Etc., etc.
