In Alabama, a lot of counties still have records from the 50 year reunion and strangely less from the 100 rememberance activities. For the 100 year event, southern states funded many book projects. Many of which can be found in book depository at universities.
In counties, not counting church records, such records can be found at local libraries or historical societies. I was fortunate to be given the task of reviewing hundred of books and files to determine what should be saved or tossed.

The files listed by our friend are characteristic of what I reviewed. Thanks for posting them.
