Continuing on from my inventory topic, I mentioned previously that I found an entire moving box completely full of minis, which somehow has been hiding under some gaming magazines for at least a decade!

So I did the inventory on the box today. Almost entirely unpainted minis, but a few primed, based, or partially painted. I thought it was going to be all historicals, but the bottom layer made it 50/50 historicals/fantasy, with a smattering of sci-fi. Mostly 28mm but a smattering of everything, as small as 6mm (not including a few naval models).

It was like getting a surprise present from 2005! grin

This also prompted me to approach the Closet of Doom, which is where the official TMP lead pile resides. I have not been in there in years. Had to move some terrain boards to get access. Fortunately, there is room for more… wink

If I just add a few more figures to the ones I found, I will have a whole new period!

I've got some miniatures that have been in my painting queue for 20 (maybe more…) years. I need to get busy painting. Cheers!

My lost figure story involves an old RalPartha Kirin. I was sure I had one at some point, but just couldn't find it. I finally gave up and while I was building my samurai collection, I ordered a new one. You know how this ends. While preparing for painting, the missing beast shows up!

Years ago my friend "lost" 1 Sister of Battle and 1 Starship Troopers LAMI sniper………….sounds like they deserted/eloped together.
He still hasn't found them yet!

2mm tank fell off the painting table last week. Still hasn't turned up, but the search revealed a 25mm Imperial Storm Trooper who has to have been AWOL a year and more likely two.

Despite the recent discussion about firing squads, I decided to just put a counseling statement in his 201 file and return him to the painting queue.

Son of MOOG, is your friend maintaining two 28mm SF forces under different rules, or use one set which will accomodate both? If so, what set?
