Regardless, IIRC, the US treaty with the PI (1951?) says the USA will stand by the PI anywhere in the South China Sea against aggression. Let's do some overwatch while the PI Navy damage and board a few CCP gunboats in open waters! |

China has been pulling this kind'a 💩 for a long time. The UN won't even send them a harshly worded email. The PRC/CCP is on the P5. Frankly I'm not sure if the USN or any of the US Military is ready for another war. And yes, at this point that is a good thing, a very good thing. But remember the Chinese are in it for the long game. They'll wait … They are playing GO … we are not even playing Chess, but more like Checkers. |
