I want to base up some 20mm figures using Empire Basing (although I won't be playing Empire).

I can't find my old Empire rules, but I have Revolution & Empire and they seem to be the same.

Here is what I see for 15mm, so hoping for some thoughts on converting to 20mm. I don't think it as simple as increasing everything by 1/3, but maybe it is. OF course, I will need to get the figs and see, but I'm starting this process and wanting to rough out some things like table sizes, etc, as I may go 1:30 or even 1:15 for a grander view.

For 15mm – 40yds per inch
Base width per figure is -
3/8" for 3-rank line
1/2" for 2-ranch line
3/4" for horse
3/4" for 2-gun section

So maybe this converts to 20mm width per figure as-
1/2" for 3-rank line
2/3" for 2-ranch line
1" for horse
1" for 2-gun section

Thoughts?

Does it list a basing standard for 25mm figures?

Not that I see.

I assume that you will be providing all of the figures so, as long as you are consistent with yourself, I think you can do whatever you want to do.

I agree with 79th--get it roughly right and consistent and you're OK. That said:
1) Be sure distances--ranges and movement--are adjusted to the same proportions.
2) I'd be a little leery of 2/3" since it's hard to find a ruler so scaled. 11/16"? Alternate 5/8" and 3/4"? Depends on how fussy you're feeling.

My fractions are just for width per fig. Overall bases and scaling will be whole number or my 1/2 in, or whole cm.

Thank you. I was worried on your behalf.

I found a copy of Empire V. It just says use 28mm basing for 20mm, so looks like I will just wait and see.
