"…Year 1938 of the Terra Nova calendar and the Inter-Polar War has been raging for 2 years as the threat from Earth has become a distant memory or fairy tale for most, old rivalries have reawakened and the Polar Superpowers have dragged all of Terra Nova into the war. Most of the planet is made up of the so-called Badlands, and the battles take place here, and it was no different during the Battle of Bako Basin. A small detachment of airborne troops from the 63rd Airmobile Heavy Gear Regiment known as the Hellcats struggled to hold their ground against their Southern Republic rivals the 45th Heavy Gear Regiment known as the Swamp Vipers. The battleground was the sleepy town of Gray Reach, known only for the mining station A212…"
