Are any members attending Aus armorfest in Cairns 23rd – 25th August? ausarmour.com/tc-events/ausarmourfest-2023/ I was at the museum last week and they had just taken delivery of a restored Cromwell and M48, and a Wespe still in need of restoration. |

I went yesterday and the Panzer 1 restoration is complete, it was a real treat to see it driving around the circuit. Of course the other WW2 vehicles are great to see too. It's interesting to see and hear various AFV's on the move. Soviets IS152 and T34's seemed very noisy, the M8 Greyhound and Panzer IV were surprisingly quiet. |

I didn't get to see the Panzer 1. It must have gone straight back into the workshop. |
