Having a bit of a Google failure. Anyone know of some top down-view printable 6mm compatible figures/counters specifically Cold War infantry? Vehicles probably wouldn't hurt either. On 30mm hex or otherwise adaptable would be brilliant but that's probably pushing my luck. I have the armour but want a temporary stand in for the infantry.

I'm pretty sure Wargames Vault has several lines of top down Ww2 and Cold War stuff.

Also check Junior General which had (has?) a top down section.

Also check out some boardgames as there's plenty of counters with such a view.

Thanks those suggestions nail it I think (and tangentially remind me there were a couple of things I wanted to get from RPG Drive Thru!)
