New bases for the trees with coins as weights to stop the Angel hair lifting, a recent problem.

Czechoslovakia Modern Army 1981 to 1985 Motor Rifle Company Battle Group. Infantry platoons. Some are new printed figure bases, some existing but now grouped, and labeled on the bottom of the base to keep them organized. The shapes represent different weapon types to help identify stuff at longer viewing ranges. The OT64 mounts are shown behind the figures.

Very nice Ush!

I like that you've created the differentiation of team types by the base sizes.

Actually, what excites me, you seem to have a new woods fabric? It looks semitransparent in places.

I can't ever get such material to smooth out enough onto a board surface like that – so don't use lay-on fabric.

FlyXwire Its Angel Hair an arts and crafts material, also used by florist's. Its very thin, lays flay and will drape a little bit. HOWEVER Do not paint it, it becomes stiff even with a minimal wash so you are stuck with the available colors.

I regret I never got the name of the folk at a show that showed this, its a regular request at shows. It is around but seems harder to get than was once the case. I use a max of about A4 size pieces as you can safely overlap the pieces. After many years it seem to pick up a bit hence the new waited tree bases.

I have been away on holiday hence the late reply.
