I'm considering a move to Florida area near the panhandle and I'm looking for any miniature wargaming in the area? I do a lot of Historical minis but also some fantasy and Sci Fi as well. |

We keep sending retirees to Florida, but they keep dying off. Are you sure the place is safe? |

There are a few good gaming cons in Florida including Hurricon in Orlando and Skirmish in Jacksonville, so they are there. Presumably the panhandle has a few kicking around. |

Ah, Florida. God's waiting room. Our daughter went to college at FSU in Tallahassee. One the professors there wrote a book call "300 miles from anywhere". |

Be sure to check the home insurance situation….. I have a lot of customers for historical minis there, so somebody plays. |

In the panhandle, gamers are there but not as concentrated as the Orlando-Tampa area. A group is in Tallahassee and another in the Pensacola area. I have seen a large group in the Jacksonville area. One outstanding painter is in the DeFuniak area. Most get together at the HMGS-south shows in Kissimmee, Recon and Hurricon. |
