I am looking to convert some PSC vehicles to command, comms, ambulance and AA variants. Are there any kits available for this?

Try S and S models. They do loads of stuff

They do have great stuff thanks but sadly only some of what I am after

Maybe search ebay for 1/72 vehicle detail kits?

Whatever happened to scratchbuilding?

Not everyone has the time, skill or inclination.

For command, I ended up cross-kitting PSC 251 HTs with the framed radio sets from the old Esci/Italeri 250/3 "Greif" model.

I did look at the S&S German radios in metal but wasn't all that thrilled by them. Another cross-kit option for the radio parts is the First to Fight 251/6 but the detail is pretty chunky. But now the recently updated FtF SdKfz 247 "with Radio" has everything you need for a great kit bash.

Of course, if you want to go a bit upscale on the antennae there are after-market options for star antennae etc.

Do you have a link for the star antenna?

Master Models do one, I think maybe Aber and Bregun too…
