How well can Empress miniatures and Warlord plastics and metals figures be mixed together? Can anyone with figures from both manufacturers weigh in? |

Warlord minis mix well with Games Workshop Space Marines! Their boss, John Stollard (spelling?), chose a "characature" look on purpose. Empress mix well with Perry Miniatures plastics and metal. Rubicon are OK, slighty skinnier and less detail but make good vehicle drivers and passengers. Warlord figures are about the same height, but chunkier. And the equipment is larger which makes them sturdier to table breakage. However, I have very little breakage during games. My North Africa campaign has about 200 vehicles and about a battalion each of Germans, Italians, British (including a turban platoon), Americans, Free French (platoon strength), Vichy French (again platoon size) and a wild assortment of askari type native troops. I usually bought 3 or more boxes of Perry plastics when first released and supplemented them with at least one each of their metal SKU's! 82-83% Perry with small handfuls of Warlord, Rubicon, Foundry and Empress. I absolutely adore the Empress drunken Italian mortar crew! |

Has anyone also had any experience with Foundry and their size compared to Warlord? |
