Any recommendations for a good line of "Walking Tank" style mechs? By that, I mean ones that look like vehicles, not over-sized power suits. And not jets that turn into giant humanoid samurai robots, either. (So no fists, swords, axes, "punching", "karate kicking" etc.— NTTAWWT, it's just not what I'm looking for.) |

I used to think that hands on a Mech was stupid. Then I saw a rule that they could load themselves! What a concept! It totally changed my view of them. |

Death Ray Designs has a mech line (for their own game) that may interest you. They'd not look out of place in traditional 6mm or as smaller mechs in 15mm. There is one particular line that literally look like tanks…they all have German sounding names and can be found under their "Steel Rift" line of miniatures. I have them and they are all pretty good sculpts with room for weapon customization. |
