Hello all,

Any historical gaming taking place in or around Newcastle between the above dates?

I think the Tyneside Wargames Club take a break over August, but any other clubs around that I could drop into for a game?

Thanks,

Ezza

Hi Ezza, we used to take an August break but we are on on the 17th as normal. The only week in August we are off is next Saturday the 3rd.

Richard: Tyneside Wargames Club.

Just a mere 2 hours up the road north is Edinburgh.

Many of the Northumbrians will be there.

Claymore is well worth a visit. I will be there with the Test of Resolve Trade Stand

Thanks all. If alright with you Richard, I may be able to drop in to see the Tyneside Wargamers for a couple of hours on 17 August.

Hi Herkybird,

Looking less likely that I will be able to make 17 August for a game and a few other things have come up. But either way thanks for the invite to the Tyneside Wargames Club.

I think that is just as well. I have just checked their site and it says there are no meetings during August. That may just not have been updated to judge by Kerybird's comment however.

Never knew they existed though and often up in Geordieland on a Saturday.

Thanks for the heads up on our club website, I will contact the chap who runs it for us to get it corrected!!!

Sorry we won't see you tomorrow Ezza, hope to see you again when things are better for you!

Managed to make it the the Tyneside Wargames club. A very nice friendly welcome and successfully led my troops to defeat in an enjoyable Death in the Dark Continent game.
