My recently painted Swiss met their baptism of fire. They were forced of the field after fighting gallantry against heavy odds. Not bad for troops that were only printed three weeks ago. Full photo coverage of the fight here link |

At Historicon we were talking about new units in battle. One said he knew any new units first fight they would fail moral first. My thought was a new unit should have a negative modification like it was a green unit even if it is a guard. |

14Bore, Generally I lead new units to disaster on the theory that they will always do better in subsequent outings. Although, people who know my generalship, would say that I lead them to disaster all of the time so there is really little difference |

two…opposing…armies…with…d,d,di-, different basing?! "AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH….MAKE IT DIE! I AM BLINDED!" |

Camel Case, Actually it is an internally consistent basing system. Each base is a company. Prussians had four, the French had six. Nominal battalion strength is 600 men so both have a 12" front when deployed in line. |
