Hello everyone,

What was the standard number of spokes on the wheels of Confederate and Yankee artillery pieces and limbers?

@RittervonBek
As for the French army of the same era.

And were the wheel diameters the same?

If so, by how much?

57 inch diameter for ACW field artillery carriages.

And how many inch diameter for ACW field artillery vehicles wheels?

And for the diameters of the wheels and their number of spokes, is it the same regulation among the confederates?

Carriages and caissons all had the same wheel as did the traveling forge.
