After running three events, three rounds of judging, picking up an extra attendee, and unpacking the #$@#$# car up stairs in the heat, I have returned from Historicon. it was most righteous:

I am always amazed seeing these completion pictures there are game boards I think I didn't see even though I try to look all around.
Not sure about who wins for game boards but as commenting on another thread if Arnhem Bridge didn't that would to me be a error
Had a great time, can't wait for the next

14Bore,

And to complicate things further, there were TWO Arnheim Bridge games! (one with a mirror and one more traditional. Both were excellent.)

It looks most righteous! Lots of great looking games! Cheers!

Had no idea there were two Arnham bridges, only saw the one with a mirror which I thought was quite a trick.
Was feeling a bit sad I only play Napoleonics and Wars of Oz

Great report, ViscountEric.

Thanks for sharing all the great pictures of all the great games at Historicon.

Glad you and Lady Maja enjoyed the convention, especially the judging part. I've known father-daughter judges in real life, but you two take the cake.

As for the absence of the "Gnome King", I look forward to his return at Fall In. Perhaps his travels will inspire a "Return of the Gnomes" game in November?

We'll see.

The other Arnhem bridge game was a Chain of Command game run by John Emmett who won a PELA for it.
