I'd like to start off by thanking all the people who make Historicon truly the greatest show on earth. I've heard some people say this is the biggest miniatures convention on the planet. Whether that is true or not, it is truly a fantastic show.

As a vendor, I had my best show ever, and I suspect that was due to the absence of Cold Wars. I never get to play any games (because I am too tired after running my booth) but the games I saw at the beginning and end of each day were phenomenal. On Saturday at 7, I saw three different scales of Circus Maximus type games, and where else in the world can you see that? So thank you to all GMs, especially the PELA winners, who I noted on Saturday night.

The HMGS volunteers are fantastic, and I was amazed how many times I was asked if I needed help or if everything was running smoothly. Much appreciated! Jeff Kimmel in particular was everywhere, helping vendors load and unload and answering all questions! But all other volunteers, manning the registration booths or other jobs, were always helpful with a smile.

Lastly, I'd like to thank you, the attendees, for making this show special. My favorite activity is when a previous customer comes up and buys something because they liked what they bought before. No amount of money can make up for that feeling. And talking to people about so many various subjects is always a thrill. Whether you bought something from me or not, I, as a vendor, appreciate you walking through the vendor hall.

So to sum up, I'd give Historicon a 10 out of 10!

Cheers.

The ultra rare quadruple post!

But seriously, thanks to everyone who volunteered.

My first Historicon at that location and I was impressed.

Only three minor negatives, Hawks room was cold (My fingers got numb), lighting was poor in some areas and parking had glitches.

Got there on Thursday mourning and parked in the only parking garage not participating with HMGS.

I have never seen so many games at Historicon before. Was told there was 100 more than last year.

So a 9 out of 10. Kudos to all involved!

Indeed. When I tell people in other hobbies that in ours the conventions' entertainment is largely provided by people who pay to do so, I'm often met with polite disbelief. Clearly not how the modern world is supposed to work.

Hawks area was the coldest spot in the building, I had t shirt and long sleeve shirt Friday night, Saturday had t shirt and heavy flannel shirt and wasn't hot.

First time at the new location as well. I support a big thank you to everyone who helped put the convention on. I had a great time. No complaints at all. I played with one young lad whose family came all the way from Greece to attend. He was have a good time.

The volunteers did their best in some trying circumstances. Well done to them.

This was my 3rd Historicon and my first as a volunteer, I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

This was the third Historicon I volunteered at. Moving the vendors is back breaking work – but well worth it. The vendors appreciate it and it's worth everything to see everyone having a good time.
