All really impressive looking tables! Looks like something for everyone. Remember the Alamo! Cheers!

Thanks, Flashman, for sharing the sights with those of us that could not make this year's H-Con.

Quite a tour de force in pictures

If I had to give a best of show in game boards Arnhem would have been my pick

Fantastic pictures and interesting commentary. My good friend and I missed Historicon this year because of busy life schedules (I have probably missed 2 in 20+ years).

Some beautiful tables in those photos. You described things about the vendor hall and flea market that I have experienced. There is definitely some graying of the hobby in some aspects but I still think there are many historical gamers out there however their nature of gaming is changing.

One screw up was the game listings it seems missed some club games at least some, no idea if all.

Thanks for sharing your photos. It was a great convention; agree that there seemed to be a lot of energy. I hosted 4 games, and all were full of players. My games do not approach the Olympian standards of the Alamo or Arnhem, but those games inspire me to try harder!

The game that you mentioned you didn't know what it was but had a lot of people was a What A Cowboy game called What A Cowboy – The Movie. A very innovative take on the Too Fat Lardies western game. It was a game about a western movie based on a game and included famous western movie characters like Shane, the Lone Ranger, Tonto, Angel Eyes, Blondie, Tuco, Liberty Valance Sheriff Bart, Headley Lamarr and more. I played in it – it was a great and fun game

Thanks 95th!

That was mine and my crews game. Glad you enjoyed it, and it was a PELA award winner too!

Thanks, I saw several pictures of games that I or my son played. Great convention.

@Greylegion

The Planet of the Ape looking game is Starshlock a 70s era SciFi skirmish game that was also being demoed in the dealer hall.

My son and I tried the demo, interesting concept with a lot of great not-planet of the Ape, not star trek, not star Wars, not Lost in Space… type models
