TRIUMPH! has great ongoing games at Historicon '24.
22 players in the "Fury of the Norsemen" tournament on Thursday.
18 Wednesday night at the "Jumbo Double" tournament
8 teams at the Grand Triumph Tournament on Friday.

I'll miss the open tournament tonight, having to bug out early. But TRIUMPH? also had a beautifully set-up series of demo games.

It's a great group and great games.

The Game is growing and slowly building momentum.

It was a great show all around. The Lancaster Convention Center is a great place for Historicon. The Triumph! (a great set of ancients and medieval rules) tournaments and games were a terrific success.

Summary of Triumph! action at Historicon 2024:
18 players in the Jumbo Double-Wide pre-convention tournament.
22 players in Fury of the Norsemen theme tournament.
20 players (10 teams of 2) in the Grand Triumph tournament.
24 players in the Open tournament.

Plus a full range of GT scenario games (Hydaspes, Nicaea twice, Granicus, Issus, Brunanburh) that all filled up (mostly 6-players per run; Brunanburh might be 7 IIRC?).
The GT scenario games were all 28mm figs except Brunanburh, which was 15mm.

Each of the categories for tournament set a new record high in participation (pre-con tourney, theme tourney, open tourney. GT tourney set a record because there had never been one before, which doesn't really count).
Almost everyone had their own armies (Brian C. supplied some loaners for two or three players who were new for the Open).

The games were full of laughter, wailing, woe and hilarity. This was just a great convention, and I'm sad for anyone who missed it.
