Hello everyone! Brand new member here. I hope I'm posting in the right location, but I'm looking for a bit of assistance in selecting suitable miniatures for skirmish warfare set in the Tudor conquest of Ireland.

I've compiled a list of manufacturers I'm interested in and would simply order a few to get a feel for compatibility and scale, but almost all of them are overseas for me and the shipping costs are steep. If anyone is familiar with these miniatures or the time period, I'd love some helpful insight or direction.

Thanks a bunch.

Thistle & Rose sell the Vendel range specifically for this period.

I appreciate the suggestions! The Vendel range from Thistle & Rose is great and I'll probably grab some figures from them. Any thoughts on models for redshanks or other Scottish mercenaries?
