Guys, Am searching for Rules for the Crusades. Have found "Shattered Lances" and then over the weekend found a copy of "Ironbow". Is anyone playing Ironbow? Does anyone know of any online resources for Ironbow. Anyone played both Ironbow and Shattered Lances? Trusting in the hive mind :) |

Other rules worth a look: To the Strongest. Grand tactical. Uses a Warmaster style activation system. Plays in a grid uses playing cards in lieu of dice. Clash of Empires from Great Escape Games Hail Caesar |

Thanks Perris, yes, thats the old Perfect Captain WebSite splash page. Problem is that when you click on anything to download resources and stuff you just get 404 File Not Found Messages. There's no actual content left there anymore. |

Thanks Crispy, yes, I have all the excellent rules you list but I'd comment that they're all generic rules attempting to cover from 3000BC to 1500AD with very generic feel. I was rather hoping to find some specific-to-the-Crusades type rules with more feel and atmosphere. I think Shattered Lances and IronBow offer this but I dont have the full package for IronBow, the Cards, etc. |
