I wonder what the prevailing temperature in the eastern states was like back in 1778? I feel for you suffering in the heat at the mo! We have had cooler than normal and rather wet weather in the UK since the 2nd week in June!!! |

I lived in England November 78- to November 80, it hardly even got to 80 yet alone hotter than that in East Angela. It shocked me years later hearing in Wimbledon it was almost 100 one year decade after I was there. It often gets to 90s here in summer |
