I just found (and bought!) some pretty good deals on Age of Sail reference books today:
British Warships in the Age of Sail, 1603–1714: Design, Construction, Careers and Fates
Dutch Warships in the Age of Sail, 1600–1714: Design, Construction, Careers and Fates
French Warships in the Age of Sail, 1626–1786: Design, Construction, Careers and Fates
French Warships in the Age of Sail, 1786–1861: Design, Construction, Careers and Fates

These are all $5 USD today. If you do a search for the series, you can see the Kindle prices are usually quite a bit higher, and the print copies range between Too Expensive and Way Too Expensive (depending how long out of print).

If you read E books, be sure to look into hoopla and libby, through your local or state library. It is amazing how many good military history books are on there.
