There have been rumors that Russian troops use elektric scooters floating around. This as a replacement for golf buggies and dirt bikes.

In the movie clip, if it is real, a trooper on a scooter can be seen. Most likely more clips like this will follow.

Better than walking I guess.

Several days ago, I was told about the Russians using golf carts. Initially, it was primarily to transfer supplies to the HQs. Then they used them to carry the wounded back to the rear echelon. Soldiers like to ride, so they began to transport troops to the forward positions.

The veteran colonel compared the use similar to the mules used by the airborne but most of them gas in US.
First time I have heard them called scooters.

Not a surprise and very practical. Think about how many soldiers used bicycles in World War II. It certainly beats walking everywhere.
