I was going to post something like this myself. I believe too many Americans don't really know or understand what this day means to the US. Especially in today's woke, DEI, CRT, etc. environment. If one does not like the US for whatever reasons … they can live somewhere else, yes? I often thought if I was around during the AWI. I may have been a Red Coat or maybe even a Tory, as I tend to be too loyal at times. But I will never know … *old fat* |

Happy Fourth. I always have a soft spot for the 4th as it was my Dad's Birthday. WWII Vet NRA instructor & lifetime member, active in the Boy Scouts & a great Dad. He used to say that it was nice of the city to put on a parade & fireworks for his Birthday! He would have been 108 today. Died too young & I still miss him.
