I remember them giving people figures back in the 90s.
I guess it plays on that psychological thing that they may, inturn, buy something.
A free plastic mini may work on kids, but I don't see adults falling for it.
I guess it's the kids they want.
A box or at least full sprue would be better.
I get it as a painting demo, but otherwise is not very helpful, especially if your new an have no glues or paints.
I guess, if they don't let people play in store, they need something to get people in.
My suggestions would be:
Models people want (as they obviously aren't coming in as they don't stock them)
Let people play in store (I'm assuming they still don't, haven't seen any playing going on when in there)
Not be so "company line" in conversation. When a company thinks it's perfect, I get suspicious. Staff should be able to have human opinions.
Stuff like that.
