Do you consciously adjust your painting, knowing that your games will primarily be played indoors rather than in full sunlight? So that you might favor brighter colors or lighter highlights.

No, I do not.

Thanks.

No. I paint indoors and I play indoors.

No, though I did discover that the shades that work for 15mm do not always work for 28 mm when I painted 15mm ACW and 25mm Plains Indian wars cavalry.
For what it's worth, my painting room does not have a northern exposure, which is supposed to give you relatively consistent tone and warmth of light throughout the day.

Rich is right. Scale and (very broadly) period make a difference. But painting light is playing light.

We play indoors and outdoors. Use the same figures for either.

I'm with Rich Bliss -- painting and playing indoors. The closest I've come to playing outdoor was a in a garage with the door open. I didn't notice any difference in how our miniatures looked.

That being said, do you perceive a difference in how paints look under incandescent, LED, and flourescent lighting? The first two are more likely found at home, and the third at a game convention.

I paint under similar lights as I use above my gaming tables. I have never played under the Sun, but Sunlight shines through my windows when I game. I do not care about lighting, as long as my figures are painted! Cheers!

All painting and gaming indoors. Even before I lost my leg.

I have recently found I paint better in daylight, now I have retired, and haven't had the awful situation when I only spot errors when I take pics for the blog!!!
