"In June 1995, this was done by a plant worker, thereby expressing a protest against wage delays.

But two years earlier – in August 1993 – local bandits decided to do a similar thing, intercepting a T-90 returning from the training ground in order to go with such a heavy weapons for showdown.

The incident forced the plant's management to constantly keep several tanks literally on alert to prevent similar incidents in the future, and the townspeople remembered these events for a long time…"
