Very nice looking mat. The one question I have for something like that is if the ground scale of the mat really makes any sense compared to the Check Your Six game scale assuming you intend to have aircraft targeting ships on battle ship row or aircraft formations that cover far more square miles on the mat than they would in real life. It doesn't really matter if the mat is just a scenic background for the air combat but definitely seems like it would be an issue if your aircraft are interacting with details, e.g. ships, on the mat. Brilliant! You should get someone to 3D print you some ships and perhaps keybuioldings to sit on the mat during play. I hope we'll see pictures of the games! The scale may be off, but by mutual agreement you could ignore that. How much is it off by? |

I didn't really consider scaling the mat as to a hex in CY6. It was about the imagery, and even using the ships and targets as is, it will work. Bombing is pretty much (simplifying here) flying over the target and dropping ordnance during the move. So that will still work for the ships. |
