Maybe not the world's first drone deployed mines, but surely the first to score. It appears that the USN can now deploy mines that are also remotely detonated by an operator tracking a vessel. |

Can't wait for the mines to be drones that decide whether the passing ship is friendly or enemy, and, if enemy, whether it is cost-effective to detonate now (is the ship worth destroying? what is the chance of success now? in 5 minutes?). It's a whole brave new world. Where the hell is my soma? |
