Hi All,

I am looking at units for the 2nd Sikh War and keen to use Van Cortlandts regiments. These were uniformed troops loyal to the Sikh government but mainly Muslim, wondering what that uniform might have look like. Interested to see any views or descriptions available.

If they were part of the Sikh army, would they not be clothed accordingly, I.e red tunic, white trousers? That would seem reasonable.
