Wonderful pictures taken on a perfect day for taking pictures. Thanks for sharing. It's worth noting that it has been 78 years since the end of WWII and that village does not seem to have the recipient of much 21st century modernization (or else that appears in a separate section of town). Pretty sure some of those buildings were constructed before the 20th century and have stood the test of time quite well.

Interesting. Just returned from 8 days in Normandy with 3 friends. Trip of a lifetime and saw many similar sights. Makes me even more in awe of what the Americans, British, Canadian and Free French accomplished.
