We had a fun game of 'What a Tanker' at our club today! We were using my Arab-Israeli variant rules.
The game is on my blog at this link

Oh, I get it now, you are ? referring to Egyptian SAM crews improvising?

I think you misunderstood, if you mean the T-62s? They were elsewhere (The far side of the Suez) fighting Chinese farm, and the advance on ismalia. Very few tanks were able to counter the Israeli advance on the east bank.

Very nice looking game there, Herkybird! I do like the camo pattern on the T-62s you have for this game.

Cap'n Pete, I copied it from a picture I saw online, apparently it is correct for 1973?!

Hi Herkybird

I currently have 6 T-62s in 6mm that are base coated. I collected a few camo schemes online. Trying to decide whether to go with the brown like you have or green like some others were. Decisions, decisions…

I have found several pics of the brown camo, but there is a variation in application, some had more stripes and some mixed with green stripes, plain sand coloured etc as you have probably seen! so you have free rein!

Of course, in action tanks became sand coloured of course!

I have seen a BMP 1 with the same brown and sand scheme.

Those are very nice illustrations of some Egyptian T-62s, Herkybird.
