We've got record heat here, and I don't bother to have AC in my painting room because it normally doesn't get that hot here. Seems like paint gets runnier when the temperatures are high. Some paints dry faster; some take longer to dry (especially gloss paints). Painting with a fan on makes the brush dry out faster… |

With experience and some experimentation, it is possible to have drops of sweat from your face fall on your brush and or in your paint. This keeps things from drying out. Practical advice provided by a resident of the Southwest. |

I have air conditioning, not a problem…glossing my figures however will have to wait for cooler less humid weather. |

People are having trouble with the extreme heat in the San Francisco Bay Area, too. It may stay above 70F for most of the day today! |

Here in northern Indiana, all spray paints and clear coats are currently being applied prior to 0700. Working so far. |
