This was an Optio VASSAL game between Jon and myself. Jon is one of those Blessed Beings who is retired and can play a wargame in the middle of a weekday morning – or whenever he likes. Ah! Being his first Optio game, it was more a learning exercise than a serious match, but Jon handled well the rules deluge I inflicted on him. I suspect he'll give me a hard time in our next game.
