Hi you all, pretty much what the title says. I know I can use white for reversible parkas and I know I can use field grey for greatcoats…but white for Infantry greatcoats on Eastern Front or in Europe? And what about grey greatcoats? Only for the Luftwaffe or Fallschirmjäger? Thanks!! |

I think white greatcoats made of of animal skin were very rare. I would go with the standard fieldgrey greatcoat to make thing easy. |

There were some long items of winter kit which were white, but as said, they tended to be based on animal skins, particularly sheep skin. The cut was loose and the detail very different from the issue greatcoat. I do not think there is a historical precedent but if you want, you could always claim 'local manufacture'. |

Thank you, I will stick to field grey. |

I've seen lots of winter camo options, but I've never seen a white great coat. |
