Mark Felton released an interesting video covering the surviving ships that participated in Operation Neptune.

I like that he gives equal attention to the "little guys", i.e. the minesweepers, motor launches, etc. I particularly enjoyed the discussion of the tugs from the "Army's Navy" and the lightships.

Good video! A number of ships seem to be at Great Lakes ports in the US, where I might get a chance to visit them.

This was excellent. I have the honor of contributing to the
"Texas" maintenance and restoration efforts.

It's been almost 15 years since I was on USS Texas. I can't wait to see her again when the restoration is complete. While watching the video it occurred to me that she was the last non-sail warship I have visited, and HMS Belfast was the first, circa 1978!

There is a YouTube channel showing the ongoing restoration work on ML1392, later called Sarinda. Interesting to see just how much work is involved on even such a small vessel and the challenges of taking it on as a DIY project.
