Not so much waves, but a wake – sculpted and painted.

Slightly surprised at the result as clear bases seem reasonably popular.

It's pretty easy to put waves on clear bases. I just did a few dozen ironclads that way early this year.

  • Coat plexiglass with Mod Pidge
  • use brush to stipple on waves
  • (optional) use brush to streak in a wake
  • set miniature onto wet Mod Podge
  • set aside to dry.
Whitecaps optional.
