Indeed, but, as everyone says, not remotely like the destruction we associate with Falaise. The town and abandoned kit are immaculate. Even pre war no French town looked that good.

What Deadhead said. You think of Falaise and you think of the destruction. The War can still be a difficult subject in Germany as this shows.

This fantastic diorama by Patrick is of course, as stated by himself, in the text not representative of the full horror and destruction visited on the pocket and its occupants.

The reason is his reluctance to do death and destruction in his dioramas.

Whilst, understandable, his modelling skills indicate what he is capable of if he so wished.
