Please see link for a first look at the new Tricorn and Bonnet rules, including a battle report for one of the scenarions – Prestonpans.

Thanks very much for posting that. I've been wondering about getting these, and it's really helpful to see how they work. I've always been a bit wary of grid-based rules, but you haven't put me off!

Thanks for posting this. I have some of the other rulesets by Trebian and I saw these advertised on TMP. Although I haven't played any of them, some of the rulesets look very promising to my personal tastes and others less so.

Thanks both.

@Prince Alberts Revenge – I think this is the first ruleset of his that I have had anything vaguely like usable troops for!

Thanks for posting the link. It's a really fair review, to my mind. @Prince Alberts Revenge: Not surprised you like some and not others. I do try not to re-tread the same ideas across rulesets. I know grids, for example, are divisive, but sometimes they just work for what I want to do.

I should say that I bought the rules, like the look of them and have dug out my plastic Jacobites, so thanks from me!
