Hi! After some times dedicated to painting 28mm Orcs, I'm back to 1/72 Ancient figures. Today, some Gallic warriors, to be based as a DBA army in the near future.

As usual, a mix of figures by several manufacturers: Hät, Revell, Airfix, Newline Design, Caesar, Linear A, Italeri.

Very nice, though they look equally good as British, with those 'Battersea' shields!--and the Boudicca in her chariot!

Thank you Herkybird! You're absolutely right, they look even more Britons than Gauls, and I intend to play them with those two lists.

Fantastic work. It looks like all those brands are the Airfix-like soft plastic. Just wondering what technique you use to keep the paint from flaking off with the first bend of the spear or sword, which has been a major deterrent to me to using more soft plastic figures.

I've finally discovered a method which does a good job of preventing the all-to-prevalent flaking, but it took a couple of decades. What your secret?

Combining the various manufacturers really creates a great look for the unit! Well done!
