What is the consensus amongst members for basing 10mm ancients? I was thinking of 30mm frontage by 40mm depth for cavalry, with each base having three figures wide by two figures deep, and for infantry, 30mm by 30mm with four infantry figures wide by three infantry figures deep.

Same as 15mm basing stated in your rules. A base represents an area of control/influence. So the casting size is fine.

For ancients I always recommend 40mm frontages. It is practically a defacto standard for 15mm or smaller minis.

Really depends on the rules. I like big based mine are 80mm frontage with varying depth.

Since I play Warmaster/Warmaster Ancients, I use the 40 x 20mm basing standard for that system. I'm given to understand that many systems at least use the 40mm frontage, if not the 20mm depth.

Thank you everyone for your responses. The consensus I found from various forums is a 40mm frontage is the way to go. Again, thank you.
