This is slightly old news, but I discovered today that Germany is back on Google Street View after a hiatus since 2010. Great news for us all when studying battles and terrain. Kind regards Allan |

I do follow Google maps reading every history book. The Battle of the Bulge reading you can pull up the crossroad being set up as a ambush or holding Against tje Germans, or follow the roads the Germans are traveling. |

I use street view for modeling Normandy terrain, especially hedgerows and towns. Used it for studying Pegasus Bridge battle. I never realized Germany was was gone. |

Thanks for posting this, Allen. Just street googled where I lived in Germany and boy has it changed! Thanks for empowering me with a chance to be nostalgic! The old toy store is still in business across the street from where I lived! |
