Last year I built a custom 6' by 4' wargames board to refight the Battle of Scarif from Rogue One in 6mm scale.
I adapted the ALL Hell Let Loose ww2 ruleset by David Wasilewski to run the game.
I used Storm Knights by Wakes Emporium as stormtroopers and shoretroopers, brigade models Hammers Slammers range for the rebel commandos and Deathtroopers and a mixture of Hot Wheels and WotC Starship Battles miniatures for the AT-ACTs and spaceships.
I have begun detailing the building of the model on my blog allhellletloose.co.uk. I also joined the excellent Hobby Support Group podcast for two episodes to talk about the build and designing the battle. You can find the first episode here link
