Here is a trailer for my Modern game at Historicon. It is an amphibious assault by the Japanese on the Senkaku Islands.

That looks like an awesome table. And a really good job on the video!

Nice mix of real world video and miniatures. Great way to build anticipation! What rules will you be using?

I'm not sure what scares me more…

A potential conflict in Indo-PACOM (we're actually wargaming this for my Brigade's MDMP exercise this summer) or the fact you have Bobby Varas credited for the music in your video…

Either way, looking forward to seeing your game at H-Con.

Marc, I am using Harpoon V for the naval battle on Friday morning. The amphibious landing will be on Saturday morning and afternoon and will use Force on Force.

Stryderg – apple iMovie made it easy, they did all the work. It took me about 45 minutes to put that together. Thanks for the comments on the table. I thought that doing a movie type trailer fits with the Convention theme of Hollywood to Historicon.

Eric, it definitely is a game inspired by what really could happen. Hopefully you can give us some feedback o how your brigades wargaming exercise plays out. I don't think that people really understand just how capable the Japanese and Chinese naval assets really are these days.
Also, you are worried about Bob being given credits for music, just imagine if I had put him in charge of costume design!!
