I really love my SYW French army. They rarely win but they have colour, presence, panache.
Anyway, on display:
19 infantry battalions, 8 cavalry regiments, light troops, artillery etc:

Far too many figures but you have to like the flags!
Figures are 1/72 plastic & 20mm metals.

A great looking collection.

What a fabulous collection, no wonder you can forgive their failings on the field of battle.

Very nice! My French SyW aemy has much the same battlefield experience but I love them as well – mine are 25/28mm, 15 infantry battalions, 5 (soon to be 8) cavalry regiments, five batteries, 2 light infantry units and various commanders/hangers on – I have Chevert and a few others on command bases; I also have red-coated Irishmen and blue jacket Germans
