You were asked – TMP link

Ignoring those elements which are scale-specific (i.e., buildings), do you use the same terrain (fields, hills, roads) when you game using different scales of figures?

53% said "yes, I use the same terrain for all scales"
23% said "no, I use different terrain for different scales"
10% said "I only game in one scale"

I guess you could use my 12ft hedges for 1/144 as 6ft hedges in 1/72. But as UK fields are typically in the 600m range you would need twice as many pieces to make the same ground scale field. Or you would model a very small field. Some wide streams at 1/144 would be OK as small streams in 1/72. Small streams at 1/144 are probably of no practical value at 1/72.

Even hills would be difficult, our Hexon 2 despite having quite a lot, we would be hard pressed to make a decent 1/172 hill. We use 1/72 scale fold flat hills as they are more usefull at the largers scales.

1/1000 scale buildings are a tripping risk to 15mm miniatures, so I don't use them on the 15mm battlefields.

I happily use my 15 mm rivers as 28 mm streams. I've also used "N" gauge model railroad trees as stunted Icelandic trees in 28 mm games.

May I see the man who uses 2mm bridges with 54mm troops?

Yes, use all of my Natural Terrain, trees, Hills, rivers,
even some crop fields( do change the fences ) for both
28mm & 54mm Games.
