Hey all, near as I can figure, it's been several years since there was a topic on the Quar, the anteater humanoids with WW1 tech. The Quar line by Zombiesmith is getting some updates, and I've gotten back into the line in a big way. Starting off with some Croftyrans. Here is some recent painting,
Those are mostly the old metal sculpts, but here is one of the new resin blisters all done up: the royalist trench raiders.
I'd almost forgotten how much I like these figures. almost. 😁 Anyone else getting back into Quar? if inclined, there are more pics and witty prose on me blog: link check it out why not? |

Wargames Atlantic has just brought out the game and figures. Apparently they made a deal with Zombiesmith. |

I love my Quar. Perfect for scratchbuilding exotic vehicles and terrain. |

They are very neat. Had a bunch a while ago, it sold them off. I do recall the metal ones being a pain to build though. |

Glad to see there's still some love for the Quar out there. Yes, WGA and Zombiesmith are working together and ii think they'll be many additions to the line. The Quar are perfect for a range of projects. The older metal ones with the separate arms are indeed kinda a pain. I hoping the new plastic ones will be much easier.
