Just saw an advert for this new movie.
Set in 1862. About soldiers sent to the
Western frontier. To be released on May 16th.
Not to be confused with a horror movie called the
Damned that will also be released this year.

Yup. Looks good. Also, several WW2 films coming out.

The clip really doesn't give any information at all. I don't even see the point of releasing it.

Very odd trailer – seems to actually go against the point of a trailer.

Based on the YouTube link that Stryderg provided how can you tell it is 1862 and the western frontier? It basically tells you nothing.

Okay, read a review of the film. It is set in 1862 with a group of soldiers out exploring in the wild west. It appears to be one of those "Deep cinema" films. The review said it was mostly soldiers talking for the entire movie from a modern point of view. Just one battle scene in which it is not shown who they are fighting. I think I will pass.

Well that all fits with the longer trailer that's up on You Tube, from the dialogue and them getting fired on from a tree line.

Can't speak for watching it, or not, from what's there though.

Less expensive to film an ACW on the frontier.
